Goodrich Castle

This magnificent castle near Symonds Yat and Ross on Wye is a great day out for kids there a activities for children through the day in the summer all connected with the history of the castle and the times it was occupied.
The castle is remarkably well preserved and the children will love exploring the narrow stairways to the battlements and towers.
There are great views over the surrounding countryside from the walls
Administered by the English Heritage who also have a visitors centre and café on the site.
There is ample parking at a reasonable price
